The Big Foot Memorial Ride is a pilgrimage to Wounded Knee, S.D., the site of the December 1890 massacre, during which U.S. troops killed more than 200 Sioux men, women, and children who were being led by Chief Big Foot to Pine Ridge Reservation. In 1990, Guy Le Querrec followed the riders who took part in this long journey.
