This year Magnum Photos popped a cork for its 60th anniversary, the same year that the BBC World Service will commemorate 75 years since its first broadcast by Sir John Reith in 1932. Robin Lustig, presenter for Newshour on the BBC World Service and The World Tonight on BBC Radio 4, curates Magnum as part of a joint venture between the BBC World Service and Magnum Photos, who together have a combined 135 years on the field of two centuries' conflicts.
2007 Nominees by Magnum Group
For the first time in two years Magnum Photos welcomes new nominees. Mark Power and Peter Marlow give their insight into the nomination process which is rigorous to say the least.
Between 1955 and 1965, Magnum photographer René Burri spent much time with Le Corbusier (1887-1965), the internationally renowned architect, painter, and city planner, capturing both the man and his designs on film.
