This book, first published in 1978, is a compilation of work by Brittany-born photographer Guy Le Querrec, of places and subjects as varied as tourists in Saint-Tropez to the conditions of agricultural workers in Portugal around the time of the Revolution of the Carnations. These images carry a strong sense of simultaneous improvisation and geometry.

But all journalists share two concerns: first, for truth; second, for the suffering of innocents. No man can see what I've seen and not be moved to tell others about it.
