On April 8, 1973, the artist Pablo Picasso died at the age of 91. Today we honor his life and work. PARIS—Spanish painter Pablo Picasso in front of his painting Guernica, at its unveiling at the International World Fair held six weeks after the aerial bombing of the Basque village of Guernica. This monumental canvas would become an international symbol of the Spanish Republican cause, July 1937.

Book of the Week Fuji by Chris Steele-Perkins The impetus for this three-year project began when Steele - Perkins was offered a gift from his Japanese wife of the famous book by nineteenth-century master printmaker Katsushika Hokusai, "36 Views of Mount Fuji".
