There are beautiful photographs you can make with people trying to escape the camera, putting their hands over their faces or turning away, but if you know their culture you know that this is like rape. I am not saying that I never steal a picture, but I do it only when I can shoot without anyone realizing it’s happened and without offending anyone’s feelings.
