World AIDS Day
Today is World AIDS Day. Since 2007, Magnum Photos has partnered with the Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in creating Access to Life, a touring exhibition and book about access to lifesaving medications for AIDS patients. The exhibit opens next on Dec. 23 in Seoul, Korea. MALI—Kassi Keita, 3, had been sick for 18 months before being diagnosed HIV-positive. His mother, Mariam Dembélé, 31, is also being treated for AIDS, 2008.
