Iditarod Landscapes
Inspired by the legendary dog race, the Iditarod, which begins this weekend, we bring you a selection of Arctic landscapes. TINITEQILAAQ, Greenland—A hunter and his dogsled have been caught in a snowstorm on their way home. Usually this storm—called Piteraq—can be predicted by the shape of the clouds. But, as in this case, the hunters do not always get home in time, 2000.
