This book contains images taken over three journeys to India by Belgian photographer Carl De Keyzer. De Keyzer also lived in the country for a period while teaching photography and photographed during his breaks, mostly during monsoon season. Here he has documented India with his distinctive eye and style, intimately capturing the lively environment with a balance of optimism and realism in each frame.

I want to question the images that are in our memory. There is always a double level in my work; what you see is true and at the same time not true.
