Book of the Week: The Mennonites

The Mennonites, a Protestant religious sect related to the Amish, have migrated around the world to maintain their way of life. The majority of them now reside in Mexico, and many live or regularly travel to work in rural parts of Canada. After meeting and befriending them as neighbors in Canada, Magnum photographer Larry Towell documented their lives for more than 10 years. The resulting collection, The Mennonites, creates a unique and intimate portrait of an often misunderstood people.
