Palolo worms, a local delicacy in Samoa, are harvested in October or early November, depending on when they spawn. Serious connoisseurs eat them as soon as they catch them; others bake them in loaves with coconut and onions or fry them in oil. Magnum photographer Alex Webb explored the harvest in 2000.
