A lot of my work yells. I want my pictures to do that — not all of them, but I want people to be moved by the lives of the people that they are looking at.
PYONGYANG, North Korea — On April 15, 1992, about 50,000 students performed in a mass game to celebrate the 80th birthday of President Kim Il Sung. Crops have languished in North Korea for many years, and the situation remains critical.
